Working day-to-day with global measurement systems reinforces that the world is intrinsically linked. Trescal actively contributes to improve the communities where we live and work so that we can cascade global impact. We support organizations aligned with our values for scientific pursuit and team collaboration. We consider change only comes through action so we not only donate financially but we involve our employees to create ties that bind Trescal employees and our communities.

Trescal x Smithsonian Science Education Center (SSEC)

Our partnership with the SSEC in the United States has allowed 150 5th-grade school children to get inspired about pursuing STEM education. Through the SSEC, we have enabled the distribution of STEM kits to student’s classrooms and supported the professional development of teachers to implement the learning modules. We have also hosted field trips to our laboratories for students to engage in hands-on science and measurement learning.

Through the Société Française de Physique, 200 high school students of physics compete yearly during the Physics Olympiad in France. This competition raises science awareness by activating students, awakening vocations as physicists and scientists as well as developing communication abilities. A Trescal Technical Director engages with the students by judging their projects. The winners visit Trescal laboratories in France and Belgium to further pique their interest in future scientific careers.
